Collection consists of four unpublished documents compiled, annotated or written by Mr. Levitt: "Station names used by the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad and its Predecessor, Constituent, Absorbed and Operated Railways and their Successors"; "Chronological History of the New Haven Railroad, 1760-1951," originally published in text format by the New Haven Railroad Athletic Association in 1940 and in 1952, compiled and annotated by Mr. Levitt; Includes an introduction to the work by Mr. Levitt; "Steam Locomotives of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, and Its Component Companies, Built in Company Shops: a Compilation Abstracted and Edited by Alan M. Levitt based on 'Steam Locomotives of the New Haven Railroad' by Charles E. Fisher, published in The Railroad & Locomotive Historical SocietyBulletins,' 1936-1959; "How American Discovered the Railway," by Alan M.
